Mark Kozelek release news

"Mark Kozelek will release his first full-length concert album, "Little Drummer Boy Live," Nov. 28 via his own Caldo Verde imprint. The two-disc, 20-track set was recorded at shows in North America in Europe over the last year and finds the artist backed on several tracks by Red House Painters guitarist Phil Carney.

Highlights include two previously unreleased songs, "Moorestown" and "Unlit Hallway," plus an early take on "Carry Me Ohio" taped in Philadelphia, a version of the seasonal favorite title track from Helsinki and "Mistress," recorded last winter at 4AD's 25th anniversary concert series in London.

To coincide with the release of "Little Drummer Boy Live", Caldo Verde Records are holding a special Christmas guitar giveaway via their website.

Tracks:
Trucker's Atlas ; Salvador Sanchez ; Cruiser ; Katy Song ; Little Drummer Boy ; All Mixed Up ; Moorestown ; Unlit Hallway ; Duk Koo Kim ; Four Fingered Fisherman ; Lily and Parrots ; Carry Me Ohio ; Bubble ; Mistress ; Michigan ; Void ; Down Colorful Hill ; Rock'n'Roll Singer ; Glenn Tipton ; Tiny Cities

In addition, Kozelek will on Jan. 23 unveil an expanded reissue of Sun Kil Moon's acclaimed 2003 debut, "Ghosts of the Great Highway." Originally released via Jetset, the album will now include a six-song bonus CD featuring an alternate take on "Carry Me Ohio," an acoustic version of "Salvador Sanchez" and two interpretations of Leonard Bernstein's "Somewhere." A live-on-radio version of "Gentle Moon" recorded in Portugal and the previously unreleased instrumental "Arrival," originally penned for the film "The Girl Next Door," round out the album."
